Research

Data Obfuscation

2015 - Present

The problem of data obfuscation deals with the tools and techniques developed to ensure privacy and utility guarantee to a data release mechanism. At first the data getting released publicly must be given some privacy guarantee and then making statistical inferences from the modified data-set is the challenge of data obfuscation.

Presently, I am involved in two research projects, one is a NTRO funded project assigned to RC Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security (RCBCCS), ISI and the other is funded by National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT).

Personal

I was born to Mr. Kalyan Kumar Ghatak and Mrs. Gita Ghatak on 4th October 1989. We are a traditional Bengali family and we like to participate in bengali cultural events like Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Janmashthami, Holi etc. I follow the "Bhagavata Gita" as my dharmagrantha but am a secular person by nature. I respect all religions and cultures.

My favourite passtime is cooking some delicious food for myself and people around. I love to share it as much as I love to make them. I am also keen to learn about various cooking methods and procedures used by people all around the world.

Other than cooking, I am also interested in Music, Philoshophy, Psychology and Poetry. I admire the works of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore.
